Doesn't work for me either. I have 9 email address (1 .Mac, the rest work-related) and no such window appears. Oh well. Fishes, narco.

But this only works for top-of-the-list mailboxes, directly associated with accounts. All other mailboxes, including those classified as "On My Mac," do not appear in the info window. Since Apple, much to my dismay, removed the status bar, I can't find out the volume of message content there.
