Announcing: MacTips
Recent switcher and TUAW reader Brad Jasper has launched a new forum: MacTips. The idea is a site with all kinds of tips and tricks geared toward switchers and general users. This will, I think, set MacTips apart from some other places like Mac OS X Hints which really cater to power users. Best of all for switchers, where a tip is for something you already know how to do on Windows, there's a little tag telling you which Windows keystroke or procedure the Mac hint replicates.Drop by, check it out, and maybe leave a tip.

Brad's site looks great! For even more Mac Tips you might like to link to my archive of weekly Mac Tips (email and RSS feed available) at http://mactips.info/tips/. I have four years' worth of Tips there - more than 200 on using the Mac and another 250 on using Eudora on the Mac.
For longer tutorials (free) check out my Learning Centre at http://mactips.info/learn/browse.php.
Cheers,
Miraz

Wow... everybody seems to have the same idea. I started my own Mactips.nl a few months back. It's a chronicle of my own switch to the Mac platform featuring tips for beginners and professional computer users alike. My site is in Dutch though so i'm afraid of not much use to most of your reader base. For those few Dutch mac users out there reading this: doe er je voordeel mee :)

I just started a "mac stuff" page on my site. I mean JUST started - I got my first iBook yesterday and am unpacking and setting it up tonight. Stay tuned b/c much more will be added to the page as I, you know, switch to a mac.
