To get an instant map to any address, just go to your Address Book and right click on the address field of any one of your contacts and select "Map Of." The address will then be revealed in Google Maps on Safari. You can do the same if a data detector determines there is an address in an e-mail in Mail.

Intel Macs!
...But seriously, it's probably something less exciting like new airports. Or hey, they could just be doing an upgrade to their xserves. Who knows?

Bigger shuffles?
Can't think of what you'd update on the Airports without having a client update as well (g -> n or something like that).

Apple is finally releasing the Powerbook G5! After all, they're not REALLY switching to Intel! Models start at 1.8, 2, and 2.2 GHz G5 processors and now come standard with 1 GB RAM. Though not much else has changed, they did add a 20" model at the top end.

new powerbooks is what I feel. not sure about that G5 comment though, that doesn't seem likely. does it? we'll know soon enough (or really, since we're here and certainly all reloading store.apple.com every 30 seconds it's not soon enough).

Right time for a Powerbook update but coming a week after iBook and mini updates seems odd.
What would update on them at this point? They have the standard 512 ram, newish video cards and the new gee-whiz motion sensors and trackpads. Too early for an Intel model and I don't see a processor bump happening.

powerbooks were updated like a couple of months ago, there is no point in updating them before the intel switch unless G5s are gonna happen!

I wonder what kind of deal Apple struck up with Terrytoons or whoever to acquire that name in their promos...
About dang time that Apple introduced a better mouse though. Too late for me, as I already use a cheap two-button, scroll wheel Logitech mouse.

Hmm - I wonder if you'll be able to set the left *and* right areas to the "primary button" _simultaneously_ (and say the scroll-ball button to "secondary button"~right-click). After so many years of using the smooth single-button mouse - now that I look - I notice the my index finder wanders all over the front half of my mouse!

That's nice. How about a new keyboard? Is it me or does that mouse not look very comfortable?
