How to steal an iPod and not get away with it
I can't decide if this is a Mac horror story or not. Mr. Adrian Smith, who manages a UK-based Apple retail store, had his iPod stolen from his car. A week later, the thief himself walked into the store, with the stolen iPod, and asked Adrian to help him buy cables for it. Adrian immediately recognized his iPod and managed to chat with the thief until police arrived, who arrested him on the spot. There are so many ways to go with this, feel free to insert your own joke. We're glad you got your iPod back, Adrian.

iPods, each one are unique for us, we could recognize them one among a million, like a little baby in a hospital xDDD

well.. my iPod is missing and i am sure i would recognize it buy the scar on its face and the fact that it recently quit working. We recently played 'host' to a friend that was needing a place to crash for a night due to a fight with his girlfriend. He left in the morning well fed, showered and with my wife's Amex card and my iPod.
what sucks worse than the fact that he charged 900 bucks on the card is that i am now out the physical iPod, of which i have an exchange for defect authorization from Apple, but am now forever unable to get a replacement.

I'm totally impressed with Mr. Smith's patience. As soon as I saw my iPod I would have punched the thief in the face and taken it back.
Score one for Apple store employees who maintain the calm, peaceful Apple image even when their stolen iPod walks through the door.

I've stolen over 500 IPods from men women and children alike, and have been caught every time because they always break and I always try to get them replaced at the Apple Store. You see, my first IPod was stolen and I vowed then and there that everyone should have to suffer the same fate. Unfortunately for me, everyone remembers exactly what their IPod looks like and gives an impeccable description to the Apple Store employees who then scrutinize every IPod return just in case it may be stolen. I keep thinking I'm gonna get away with it, but I never do.

The apple store at the westchester is based on the second floor and i always imagined creating a chain of people to trow the ipods to over the second floor opening.
