iPods used to be music players but now they are platforms unto themselves. Millions of people around the globe own one of these little pieces of consumer electronic perfection, and that means that people have been 'hacking' their iPods for a long time now.Holding the Command key (aka the Apple key) and pressing Tab will cycle through your open applications. It's easier to Cmd-Tab if you are Copy (Cmd-C) and Pasting (Cmd-V) to and from various applications.

Apple services Linux iPods, and have as long as linux has been running on the music player.

"This Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Apple hardware product or **any software**, even if packaged or sold with the iPod or iSight product."
The warranty is a hardware warranty. Software need not apply. They wouldn't turn you away if you had Yellow Dog dual-booting on your PowerBook either...
