Make your own Lego kit
Laurie might not like those "newfangled" LEGOs, but I do. Any shape, size, or permutation is OK by me. Yes, I'm a LEGO maniac... Which is why I was ecstatic to see this item over at Engadget— an app that lets you build your own LEGO creation in software, then order the physical pieces to build it! LEGO Factory is totally free to play with, but those pieces will cost you. What's more important is that LEGO is finally feeling the Apple vibe and providing a Mac client alongside the PC version. Not eight months after, but right now. OK, can we get a decent LEGO Mindstorms app for the Mac now, pretty please? That way I can design a case mod for my iBook that will actually follow me around...Share

I use the 'RoboLab' (http://www.legoeducation.com)software from Lego Dacta, but another alternative is NQC (http://bricxcc.sourceforge.net/nqc/) that I haven't found useable with my little knowledge of C...
