iTunes Phone finally here...

...but who cares when you have the iPod nano. I don't know if I am super-thrilled with the Motorola iPhone announcement. It's too little too late. Here's the link if you want to check it out.
Of more interest to me is the new version 5 of iTunes. Get it.

FWIW, I have a Moto v710 from Verizon with a 256mb transflash card in it. I can load it with plenty of MP3s and they sound great. Not as elegant as connecting to iTunes, but hey, it works.

September 07 2005 at 4:44 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyEh. Remember when phones were used to, I dunno, make phone calls? I'm completely uninterested in this phone because I'm also completely uninterested in using a cellular phone for anything other than making phone calls. I also wouldn't even have a cell phone if it weren't so darned handy for making emergency calls. I hate cell phones. I hate being at anyone's beck and call anywhere I go. I hate being with people who feel that they must carry on phone conversations with other people all the frikkin' time (you know those types). I guess somebody will like this phone. They'll also have money to burn. Just get an iPod and press pause whenever your purse/pocket/belt loop rings.

September 07 2005 at 3:48 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI've been very outspoken on my dislike for an iTunes phone. However, maybe Apple DOES realize that it won't be a big seller, but will bring more brand recognition to the company. That's the only incentive I can see for making this iPhone thing. However, I'll just stick with my Motorola Razr V3.
