Too early to register a nano

So I just brought home and unwrapped my brand new 4 GB black iPod nano. While I'm not gonna fire off a review or "first look" just yet, something kind of amusing happened that I'd like to share: I plugged it in, and the short iTunes setup process asks me if I'd like to register my new iPod. I think: sure, why not? Couldn't hurt right?

Well apparently you can't register just yet, as "iPod nano" is not one of the options on Apple's product registration page yet. Funny, isn't Apple usually a step ahead of everyone else?

Looks like they've since added the reference to iPod Nano as it appears now... You just drove home too quickly from the store... :) Piko

For SEVERAL FRIGGIN' WEEKS after Tiger came out, there was no "OS X 10.4" option on the OS X feedback-page at www.apple.com. FOR WEEKS. I filed a bug about that, wrote to support twice, but nothing happened. After some weeks of that, I contacted Dave Hyatt (of Surfin' Safari fame) about something completely different, but added my story about the useless feedback-form as a P.S. It was fixed the next day. Could have been coincidence, but still nice :-)

Similarly, the iPod feedback page still doesn't list iTunes 5 (didn't check for iPod Nano since I was giving feedback on my 40GB 3G iPod).
