Tunewallet nano case coming
Cases for the iPod nano are sprouting like weeds, and this is one of the slickest I've seen so far. For all you proud new (or expecting) iPod nano owners out there, you might wanna check out the Tunewallet nano. Looks like it's pretty slim, genuine leather and large enough for business cards. I'm really starting to love the small size of my nano, and this might be the first case that can really fit the bill and my pocket. Unfortunately, it isn't available until October, and it doesn't look like they're taking pre-orders. Check back with us if you're interested in this case though, since I have my sights set on this one.

One of the best designed cases for any model iPod that I've seen in a long time. Would be cool to see dark brown leather to match my wallet and other leather items.

That looks like a really slick case. I like it.
Now when you are in NYC, and someone says "Give me your ipod" you'll lose your wallet and your nano in one swoop. Oh well.

I am looking for a nice slip-case, maybe something in neoprene... mainly for when I transport my nano (quickly throwing it in a bag or whatever). It should be a nice snug fit and really hug the nano (keeping it as cozy as a mother's womb ;). Anyone know of something like this?

Is it me, or does the image of the wallet on the site look like a photoshop-job?

It's either a Photoshop job, or whoever make that prototype has water in their left ear. hehe.
Cheers;

Wallet would be perfect, if you could keep it in your back pocket without fear of breaking it in half. Somebody send Arstechnica another nano...

Ummm... where does the headphone cable go? I don't see an opening on the bottom of the wallet where it can be inputed...

hmm, i think its ugly. the ipod is nice and shiny looking. why would you want to cover that up with a nasty leather wallet?

I agree, it's kind of ugly and old school. Some sort of a case that you can slip it in and out of would be great. Maybe leather holster.. maybe neoprene. Think the trend these days with gadgets (esp. cell phones) are to safeguard the device when storing, and have it open and free when using. Why cover up this beautiful peice of technology. Just be careful with it so you don't drop it.

Very nice design (photoshopped or not).
But it looks it has a design flow: there is plastic covering the click wheel.

Personally I like the one shown here: http://www.tunewear.com/english/ The Ice one is rather nice looking with the black nano :drool: I plan on getting that case

I needed a case for my new nano, so I did what any guy would do... I made my own. I sewed together two pieces of leather in a super simple design. It's nicely folded on the top, and has a great slimming effect. It's hard to imagine the nano seeming any thinner, but it's possible (really, it is!). I've got a few pictures of it on my blog, (http://www.t413.com/nano_gallery/).

I went out this weekend & bought a leather business card holder for my Nano from a leather store. I can't see the screen & I can't touch the wheel, but after cutting a small hole in the bottom for the headphone jack, at least I can listen to it while it's in my pocket w/out worrying about scratches. The best part - it only cost me $5.00. It'll tide me over until the real cases hit the shelves.

Hey i was wondering why once you click on the image a different ipod wallet apears. I want to know where you can get THIS one, not the one once you click. Does it exist? And why does everyone think its a photshop job? I'd believe you, but i just thought it looked pretty real. Please respond.
