Custom nano paint jobs
Not happy with just black or white? Check out what Colorware is doing. Choose from twenty three different colors for your nano (I kind of like Midnight), or create your own clickwheel/body color combination. I can see how team or school colors might be kind of cool.Custom colored nanos start at $265US, and custom color combos start at $315US.

Does anyone know about warranty/protection policies that Apples has for those who would use ColorWare PC services. Meaning, if I send my Powerbook in for a paint job, does that void my protection plan?

September 28 2005 at 7:46 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI've got a ColorWare paint job on my Mac mini and it's great. No issues with scratching at all. Sure it's not an iPod, but it did hold up on a 500 mile move w/o any apperant scratching. I think it helps protect it a lot more than the stock paint job.

I have a carbon 3G and iPod Photo and it also seems to help prevent scratches for I've had the 3G for a couple years now and it barely has any scratches. I just ordered a Nano hoping that it will help with the scratch complaints that have been posted everywhere.

September 27 2005 at 12:22 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyAs a Cal fan, I would totally go for a blue and gold nano if the paint jobs didnt look like someone took nail polish to an iPod nano.
