CRM4Mac updated for Tiger

For a brief overview of what Crm4Mac actually does: it's essentially a front-end for Mail, iCal and Address Book that groups the information and functionality from each of those apps into one interface, a la Entourage, but do note: it doesn't modify or replace any of Apple's apps. I'll admit it's kinda tough to wrap your head around the concept, but if you're on any kind of similar quest like mine for a little something more to add to your daily PIM activities, I'd definitely recommend giving Crm4Mac a whirl, and check out the app's site for screenshots and demo videos. The demo is fully functional for 30 days, and a license will run $50.

I knew this product had to exsist, but I couldn't find it. Thanks for pointing it out. I look forward to reading your review.

While this does look kind of nice and Apple-like, it doesn't hold a candle to Marketcircle's DayLite. Now THAT's a CRM.

I like the idea, but don't like the price. Discount helps with that though. :) Eagerly awaiting a review.

It's interesting. I contacted the developer of this software a while back, interested to help them develop this title for mass corporate/b2b consumption. They were quick to initiate a dialog with me, asking for my comments and suggestions as a starting point for an extended discussion. I was happy to share some initial ideas (based on 7+ years of experience in b2b sales and use of several CRM/SFA applications), which they received but then didn't follow through. In any event, I second Frank's sentiment. DayLite is a (much more) impressive application. I am also talking with an very talented FileMaker developer about bringing his new application--which out of the box offers an unparalleled set of customizable functionality and a variety of expansion modules--to the US business market.

The graphics need a large improvement. I stopped using it simply because it was unattractive to me -- stairstepped icons, and the like. Please, from a creative director, make your application look as good as it functions, or I'm not interested. Maybe I'm a spoiled mac junky, but I have terminal for my non-attractive methods of working.
It has promise, though -- it just needs a large graphical overhaul, and I mean large.
