ComicLife version 1.2
Plasq.com has released a new version of ComicLife, their photo comic application that I have mentioned a few times before here on TUAW. It's probably, hands down my favorite Mac-only program, because it is fun and stupid...just like me!The new version is free for me, because I already have a previous version, but, if you don't, it will only set you back $24.95. According to Plasq, "The update brings a range of new features and improvements; including highly-requested 'curly tails' for speech balloons, built in fonts, style updates and bug fixes." Just a suggestion here, but If you are going to show a comic, you might want to make it big enough to read. Is it just not funny? :-)

To CK: One, thanks! Two, no he doesn't play nice with the four other birds (three cockatiels and one English budgerigar). He's ok with them, but when they get near him, he feels the need to assert his dominance. What a bully! He mainly teases them, though. Really, it also depends on your ekkie's personal disposition, and your willingness to train him to be good to other creatures. My wife also said they mostly get along with other Eclectus and same size or larger birds (she's the bird expert of our home).
Back on subject, I don't know if I'd pay that much for Comic Life, seeing as it really makes a lot of fancy "window dressing" for photos and other art, but it was so much fun that it's tempting to cough up the dough! Very slick app!
