Best Buy: Mighty Mouse with bluetooth
Dan sent in this tantalizing screenshot he found at the iOnMac forums. It appears to be a Best Buy sales flyer advertising a "Mighty Mouse with Bluetooth Technology." That mouse's tail is what's kept me from buying one so far, and if this is legit, I may have to drive to my Apple retailer this weekend. I must note that I was not able to find the same image when browsing the flyer at BestBuy.com. The site requested my postal zip code before displaying the flyer, so perhaps the mice just haven't made it to the Best Buy in my neck of the woods. Or, it's a fake or typo.
Can anyone replicate the ad? Let us know.
Thanks, Dan!
Update: Reader Conor has found the ad. To view it yourself, follow his instructions. Well done, Conor!

I´ve had the bluetooth for a long time. (rolling my eyes up back into my head.)
The bluetooth mighty is coming. You all know that! Apple just wants us to buy the normal one first. More money for Apple.
(I love Apple to death, but it is a large company and it would not be here if it released both mice at once.)

As much as I believe Apple will come out with a bluetooth Mighty Mouse, I wouldn't trust Best Buy to get anything right, especially when it comes to advertising. I've checked on the web site for many things to see if they were in stock at the local store, only to find out that they weren't actually there. And don't get me started on the employees. Having used (and loved) the wired Mighty Mouse, I will gladly wait for when Apple officially debuts the wireless version.

Did anyone look at the picture? A bluetooth mouse with a cord? C'mon people, get your heads out of Apple's a%%. Best Buy screwed up. Surprised?

This "ad" also says it's for Oct 7-13... that's a Friday to a Thursday!? The format is also wrong. Best Buy ads are in landscape, right? Anyway, the "real" ad is for Oct 9-15 (Sun to Sat).
Still, I would love a Bluetooth Mighty Mouse. It's funny that I'm so caught up in speculating what *the* announcement is going to be that I've completely forgotten about the Bluetooth Mighty Mouse in my wishlist!

We're sorry, but we currently do not include ads for stores in Canada.
Find great values, name brands and special services both online and at your local Best Buy store.

Must be fake, or a typo. I don't think it's happening anytime soon... or maybe at the Oct 12th event?

Who's Dan? I was the one that posted this on iOnMac. I'm glad people find this helpful, but nowhere is there a mention of my screenname, nor the ionmac thread.

Dave: Dan is the person who send in the image as a tip. He only send the image and not a link to the original thread. Thanks for posting it, though. Good find.

Go back and read post #3. It's a typo! Sheesh! There is an obvious cord in the picture.

Yah, it was a typo, and I was merely trying to show that they made a mistake. I saw the mouse in the store, and nowhere on the box did it say anything about wireless (not to mention the cable!) I am assuming that BestBuy thought that bluetooth was an apple technology, and because the wireless keyboard below has it, they put it on the mouse as well.
I really didn't intend for people to think that it is a sign that the new wireless mouse is coming soon (although it probably is).
