Can anyone confirm that iTunes 6 is not as buggy and dangerous as iTunes 5 was?

TV shows for $1.99 may not be too bad if the quality is ok and commercials are non-existent.
Subscription model coming soon??? I think this is where the subscription model could take hold. I would rather buy a subscription to a channel/show than have to pay for so much useless garbage if there was an easy way to view it on my TV.

Why in hell did they roll out iTunes5 last month, just to get rid of it?? Is this the shortest product cycle in Apple's history or what?

The UK iTunes page does not mention as yet iTunes 6...
http://www.apple.com/uk/itunes/
It is after 5pm here (nearly 8pm actually) but generally the UK side of things is updated as with the US side
The UK front page of the Apple website does mention iTunes 6 has a link which takes you to a page which will allow you download iTunes 5....

Where's the video AirportExpress?
The new iPod shows they have a chip capable of doing the decoding and a wireless G network should be able to handle a sustained data transfer rate on par with those little hard drives.
It just doesn't make sense to be playing up a world of video downloads and not include the device they were originally meant for; TV.

Oh dear problems already.
I installed iTunes 6, when the new player started it complained that it needed QuickTime 7.0.2 installed - which I have already. I then tried to play the preview of a video from the music store. Nothing. The time bar moved along as if it was playing but the preview window remained stubbornly a blank grey colour. Shame.
Also the videos in the UK are 1.89 (~$3.31) , what does Steve treat us first worlders with such contempt!!

iTunes 5 we hardly knew ya. But, I would love some HBO shows a la carte for $1.99 each. Maybe someday.

What *I* want to know is: Can I load my OWN videos onto the Video iPod?
Any guesses? I can do it right now with my PSP, but I have the feeling it may look better on the iPod, though the fact that it isn't widescreen may shorten the fun a bit :/
