New iPod: Black or White?

I bought a black nano and it scratched. I bought a black 5G and it came scratched so I sent it back and got white. I justify white by saying it's the iPod's "signature color" and that God (e.g. Steve Jobs) would want it that way. Then again he wears black...hmmm.

You guys are lucky. I splurged a few weeks ago and got a nano... and love it. I can't imagine just being able to go out and get another new iPod like that. I would like a white, but if I did get one now I would get black just to be different from my white nano. Theoretically I could get one in a few weeks, but I am saving up for a Mac mini... Perhaps I should wait a little bit until they have Front Row like the the iMac.

Hey, here's one. You think Sony will let ITMS have video content, on the condition that they allow the PSP to sync to iTunes? Regarding the accessory market-- this is probably helping the iPod get into MORE retail, because those accessories have a HUGE mark up that retailers are happy to give space to. (Think of the price of your typical Greeting Card, and floor space dedicated to its display, compared to the cost of its materials)

I would get the black one. Video is nothing but a gimmick IMHO. The larger screen and thinner device is nice though.

I ordered a black 30 gig. I think it's really classy looking, My mini died this morning and has to go visit the Apple store for an evaluation and perhaps CPR. It will now become the back-up iPod. I listen to audiobooks constantly and am looking forward to a color screen and Video.

I ordered the 60gb in White. Only because I have the 4gb in Black. i figured if I went with the white I would have one of each.

White (my iPod #13) and yes it's H-O-T. :-)
