Saft 8.1.6 for Safari 2.0.1
Our favorite Safari plug-in was updated a few days ago and we were too busy to notice.Version 8.1.6 adds Korean localization (now tastes just like kimchi!) and improved Regex support, URL matching and tag element matching in the Ad blocking feature.
Yeah, I know... hardly a ground-breaking update, but we love Saft so much that we'll take any chance we can get to remind you to download it.

Unfortunately the demo doesn't include the ad-blocking feature! This would be the only reason why I would purchase this piece of software and it would be nice to try the feature I want before I buy. Can anyone tell me if the ad-blocking is as easy to use as adblock in fire fox? I'm weary that I'll need to open the preferences to add a url or pattern to block. I like the fact that adblock in fire fox allows me to right click the image to bring up the adblock menu. How does saft handle this?

^^^ Just use PithHelmet. Outstanding bit of software.

The major reason I have for wanting to use Saft is that it has the ability to force tabbed browsing; however, I understand that clicking on a link in another application still opens a new window instead of a new tab in the same window. Is this either:
1) Based on a very old version of saft that does not have this behavior anymore ...
2) A limitation of what Saft can actually do by hooking into Safari ...
3) Something that works with pith helmet or some other Safari addon?

John - all my links open in tabs, not new windows, even links from other applications. If that isn't working for you, make sure your Safari preferences are set to "open links from applications in a new tab in the current window." That's a Safari feature even without Saft :)
