Doug Adams' Yahoo! Video Search v1.2

You know about Doug's AppleScripts, right? It's a cool repository of scripts that can do or control just about everything on your Mac so if you haven't checked it out, you really should.

Doug's Yahoo! Video Search script was just updated to version 1.2. Now it allows only QuickTime or MPEG file types be searched, so you don't waste time on useless results. To use it, you double-click the script, enter a search string and it will use the Yahoo! Video Search to download the results as a Podcast to iTunes. Very simple. Very handy.

The script is free, but I'd encourage you to kick Doug a few bucks as a donation if you really like it.

Now how would you get those videos on your ipod? I keep getting a message that these videos cannot be played on this ipod

Pretty nice, I'm always surprised by how powerful AppleScript can be. That video you're showing in the preview is from Armando Ianucci's 2004: The Stupid Version, in case you didn't know.
