Video for your iPod at Showfootage
Did someone say there's a lack of video content for the iPod? They just need to look around more. For example, Showfootage.com has literally thousands of video clips available for download from there website for EUR.99 per clip. Browse everything from CGI clips to nature footage. I did a quick search for "beach" and found 22 results. In addition to the paid downloads, Showfootage features a video podcast in the iTunes Music Store [RSS feed link] that's updated weekly with their "free clip of the week." Check it out, load up your iPod and be the envy of all the other commuters on the train each morning.

check out www.archive.org loads of free movies and clips from the dawn of cinema and television right up to the present day, all free to download and distribute, most of which are mpeg4 or .mov (some divx and other avi's which will need converting.) best ones are:
"dawn of the dead"
"the cabinet of doctor caligari"
and some truly excellent public service announcements from the 50's and 60's.
