Stocking Stuffer: iSkin evo3 for 5G iPod

iSkin evo3Here's another great 5G iPod-related stocking stuff that clocks in at the $35 range: the eVo3 silicon iPod case from iSkin. All the goodness from past iSkin cases is present in this newly updated version for the 5G iPod, including new, fully-integrated scratch-resistant material to ensure a clear view of the iPod's gorgeous video display. The iSkin eVo3 also features a removable, rotating clip, breathable vents to keep the iPod cool while you're watching all those new iTMS shows, click wheel protection and an integrated dock port connector cover. The case is available in six colors and begins shipping December 12th, hopefully just in time for the holidays.

I received my Iskin Evo3 2 days ago - I love it!! Finally, I can actually use my ipod video without worrying about it getting scratched. The iskin is beautiful (I got pink). It fits perfectly and the cover for the screen is amazing (can't tell it's there). I haven't had any problems with lint, etc, if something sticks, seems to be easy enough to wipe. I plan on getting a couple of different colours.

This guy is offering some free hand made(knitted) bags(look like the Apple iSocks) for iPod with Christmas pattern, looks warm and beautiful, however, the offer is only limited to 5 bags before Christmas. http://wooroo.blogspot.com/2005/12/free-handmade-ipod-bags-warm-love-for.html

I don't dig the iSkins -- they get fuzzy in my wool jacket, a dissapointment -- so I went with the agent18 hard case, love it -- clear and beautiful.

I'll give it props for having a cover for the scroll wheel. Two new cases I looked at yesterday didn't. I have purchased the Belkin Kickstand, but will hold off using it in hope of finding something I like the design of more. The leather case from Belkin looks good, but doesn't seem to be available in stores yet. My all-time favorite iPod case was the Xtremity for the iPod Photo from Xtreme Mac. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that there will be a 5g version.

I liked my iSkin for the 4G iPod, but I'll probably get a different type with my next iPod. The iSkin might protect the iPod, but it doesn't show it off at all either. My iPod as I know and love it is a big piece of blue silocon. Also, the skin makes the iPod itself bigger, so I haven't been able to use any docks. I'll probably pick up an iPod sock next time.

Thank God iSkin finally came out with a case, that's the reason I haven't taken my 5g to school much because the included Apple case just doesn't cut it. By the way, I just finished placing the order for my Artic case :D.
