SafariTest

Snugtech.com is offering a free service called safaritest to all that are interested. You enter a URL into a form, select a width, and the type of image file you would like and the app returns an image of that website rendered on Safari.

This is great for those web designers that can't afford a Mac but who still care what their sites will look like for Mac users.

Actuall this isn't bad for showing a client their site on Safari when your client is on a PC in another city/state/counrty.

That logo looks really familiar. Can't quite place it though.

The funny thing is, when I load the gap's site with another user agent, it works perfectly.. I don't know what everyone is talking about..

The Safaritester is great stuff for Windowsfolks, but for us (Mac webdevelopers) an IE-Win tester would be nice ;-)

That's great for getting the look/feel differences down... But webdev also has to account for function and WebKit handles certain interactive page elements differently than Gecko and IE's rendering engine. So this really only solves a (small) portion of the problem.
