Mac mini Lunchbox
Who needs a MacBook Pro when you've got a Mac mini.
Am I right people? What's that you say? The Mac mini isn't easily portable? Well, that's not what the good folks of STM
think. They've whipped up the Mac mini Lunchbox which for $48, or so, is the ideal place to stow your Mac mini and power supply when you're on the go.
I never go anywhere that doesn't have several keyboards and mouse combos laying around, so this is the ideal solution for me.

I was really hoping for a lunchbox that looked like a Mac Mini. I for one am disappointed.

Well, minus the factor of price I'd put a Mac Mini in line with the iBook line. Personally though I'd rather be computer on a new powerbook, or better yet if just native-applications a MacBook Pro. Other then price and weight I can't see what compartive advantage the mini has on the new powerbooks/macbook pros. Although if we're speaking Mac Mini or iBook then I see your point/side/argument, but otherwise apple will need to release a Mac Mini Pro to be comparable to a Mac Book Pro in my opinion.

P.S. did you mean to say keyboard, mouse, and display combos? I think the display is just as important then those (if not more important than a mouse since some people can really cruise with keyboard shortcuts and very little mouse interaction). Once again, just my opinion...

I regularly brought my Mac mini to class for group presentations. My backpack is made to hold skateboards, so I just put the keyboard there, and took a wireless mouse as a clicker. With a DVI-to-Video plug, I didn't need a display. It is VERY portable.
