iPodderX now Transistr

Oh, so they did get other submissions? I thought they only got one, so they had to go with it. After the contest closed, I was using iPodderX and realized since it's only designed to do one thing at a time (download only one file from one feed and can't export to a media player while it's doing anything else), I thought I could have suggested "Poddleneck", but they didn't want "Pod" in the name, so my second choice was "Pain In The RSS".

Ugh, "Transistr?" A typo name? That'll be cool for maybe a month...I had suggested "Pulsar." I wonder if calling it "Pulsr" would have won the contest. :)

What's with all these names now that drop the "e" or the "o" before the "r" at the end. They all seem to me to be a rip off of Flickr.

I thought my submissions were much better. I offered 'DailyDigest' and 'Digestive' (because a newsreader is supposed to digest online information into a more friendly and manageable package).

BTW I used to have some stars here... what gives? Is it because my email address has changed? In fact, i'm still in the list for contributors with 3 stars (20th spot) but now when i post i have none. Not that it really matters..
