RoboNuts: An Intel-compatible diversion

If you're looking for a bit of a time waster for your Wednesday afternoon, look no further than Wouldja Software's RoboNuts. A bit of a cross between mine sweeper and, um, pacman, RoboNuts will keep you occupied for those 20 minute teleconference calls with your boss.

RoboNuts is available as a trial download and works on Intel machines as well as PowerMac's. Have fun and let your boss know that your company's recent purchase of an CoreDuo iMac for home use was much appreciated.

Minesweeper? Pac-man? What sort of revisionism is this?

This is a version of "Daleks," reputed to be the first freeware game for the Macintosh. I first played it on a Fat Mac, circa 1985. You can download a *new* version of it (from 1987) at http://members.aol.com/bfbullpup/macgames.html (it not obviously work under Classic at present). I am glad, however, to see it ported to intel now.

It's got great graphics, too! I've found it's very addictive and totally agree with you about it's use as a diversion...
