Transmit goes universal

Transmit, Panic's great FTP client, has been updated to version 3.5. This release is a universal binary, and other changes include:

  • The ability to edit any remote file, in any application
  • Improved synchronization
  • The ability to create your own droplets

You can read the full change log here. I use Transmit all the time and really love it (iDisk is way faster via Transmit than OS X's Finder). Transmit requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and is priced at $29.95US.

Milking it, those guys. I get the feeling they sit around their Pearl District office smoking doob and futzing with DHTML. Bastards! :)

They need to update the interface ᠬa Mail. That Sidebar/Drawer thing is so 2004!

I second the use of Transmit. Best FTP proggy out there, and I feel really badly for people managing their iDisks with anything else.
