I don't get it, what's the draw in having a 1gb nano. $50 more than a 1gb shuffle and all you get is a screen and the possibility of fm compatibility for an additional $50. well in important news, when are the macbook pros shipping, anyone have any idea?

So, is the release of a mini Nano a precursor to the Shuffle taking a final bow?

I don't get why they always shut down the entire store for these tiny updates. Can you imagine amazon.com going down because they are adding new products?
Does Apple do it for the buzz, or does their homegrown store-backend just suck so much? I've always wondered...

If they decide to bow the Shuffle's out gracefully, I hope they sell them at clearance prices. I have an iPod 3G and realized that I really don't need it. So I'd much rather trade down to a simple Shuffle.

I dunno, I'm really glad I have my 1gb Shuffle. I'd destroy a Nano put in the same situations. I am not sure I'd buy a 1gb Nano. There's not going to be enough stuff on it to want a screen. If they get rid of the Shuffle altogether, I will stock up on a few of them.
