Apple discontinues PowerPC Mac mini
Apple's certainly not wasting any time: They've pulled the G4-based Mac mini from their online store, hammering one more nail into the beleaguered PowerPC's rapidly-sealing
coffin. So if you're still lookin' for a mini G4 before making the leap to Intel, you're gonna have to go through a third-party -- and quick.

Hi Dan,
I'm curious about your findings with your new macbook pro. I don't know if you still plan to put them on this site. Just wanted to let you know I sure am interested.

Some stores obviously knew this was going to happen; they began moving inventory. MacMove wrote about a heck of a deal at Micro Center, a complete Mac mini system for only $499/$599.
Story is here: http://www.macmove.com/mm/archives/apple/great-deal-500-macintosh-system
In addition, G4 Minis are being sold in the Certified Refurbished section of the online Apple store.

Is it "platform" based: iMac, Mac mini, MacBook Pro? That leaves Power Mac and iBooks and they are past 50%.
What if they count variations? This leaves 12" & 17" PowerBooks, 12" & 14" iBooks, X versions of PowerMac. If this is the case, I am not sure if they are at 50% without dropping some product variations (e.g. replace 2 variations of iBook with single 13" model.)
I expect price drops on the G4 Mac minis. There's s till a great deal of stock in the channels. Today's not a good day for Apple distributors and resellers...

I placed my order for the new one, and have no idea what I'm going to do with the old. Actually, that's not true. I am loaning it to a Windows friend who wants to try out OSX before taking the plunge. It is a good thing to loan out - they use their own keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
...or sold... you know... to buyers.
