A Mac mini in an NES

This is an impressive mod. Brent Housen's friend has taken a Mac mini, gutted it, and reassembled it inside an 'old school' (as the kids say) NES. The power button on the NES puts the Mac mini to sleep, and the Reset button ejects the CD tray. Pretty sweet, I just hope you don't have to blow on the CD's repeatedly to get them to work.

Nerd that I am, I love these kinds of mods. I'm old enough to remember getting PONG one Christmas, and having an Atari (back before anyone knew what "2600" meant). I never had an Intellivision but I did get a ColecoVision. And can you believe it, I had a Coleco ADAM as well. Geez, what a waste of money.

actually a great idea. I may just have to do with with one of the new core duo minis and throw some desktop drives in there to make it a fileserver :)

Followed your link, expecting to say "come on mate, just cause someone did it before doesn't make it a rip-off."
Then I followed the link... and it's even worse.
How are you comparing some guy who's fitted his mini into a NES with some guy who's created a horrible "monster" like that?

I've seen many mods but this is just too cool.

Ross: I do believe Paul aka Tyrannous was being ironic and/or funny. "The Mess" was never meant to compete with a Mac mini/NES mod!
