Am i the only one who was obsessing about seeing this keynote?
it appears from this podcast that there were plenty of other cameras in the room, but Apple has failed to release an official uncut version.
I saw this yesterday and sent it it as a tip... thanks for getting around to posting it :)

Steve sounds like he has a cold, a bit nasal.

I'm very dissapointed with this video. Steve Jobs didn't announce that he was an alien overlord bent on eating all our brains.

Am I the only one who thinks that Steve is still quite unwell, but not saying anything? Remember how he stumbled and was reading a lot from cards at Macworld in January? He also makes a few errors here (very unusual) and is speaking very quietly. Maybe I'm nuts, but I'm worried for Steve's health.

Steve definitly sounds horse. Is voice is raspy and perhaps it because he's not mic'd in the townhall forum. His presentation definitly did not have the same impact that MacWorld's keynote had.
I do like the comment about having the iPod HiFi at home under a cloth...

The video looks like it's only 4 minutes. Where do I get the 20 minute video?

You know, when I saw the initial engadget "live notes" from this media event, I was unimpressed - but after seeing this ... its beginning to "click" with me.
MacMini with Front Row + Bonjour (sp?) ... that's an amazing product.
... and while I probably won't be purchasing an iPod Hi Fi system, I can definitely see that selling well with the financially comfortable crowd.
I'm excited to see what Apple brings out next.

The 22 minute episode of Inside Mac TV is dated Feb. 28, 2006. If you don't see it in the iTMS listing, try clicking on See All xxx Reviews, and from that screen clicking on More Reviews. Their feed seems to have gone wacky.

You do know that the Engadget comment pages are full of trolls who thrive on disparaging Apple products, don't you?
Whenever any mention of an Apple product comes up, there's always people in the first 5 comments with something like "iPods have really bad audio quality, my Zen on the other hand is as perfect as something can be, no one should ever buy an iPod, they suck."
All very predictable, actually! I don't bother to read the comments (unlike TUAW, where we're all a little more honest.)

I too agree that Steve sounded like something was wrong. Maybe he's stressed with all this about the switch and making everything come out early.
I like the boombox, although its a tad too expensive for me. Maybe I'll go rob a bank or something.
