iPod giveaways at Beverly Center Apple Store

reporting on a month-long contest that is going on at the Beverly Center Apple Store in Los Angeles, CA.
Several Mac owners living in southern California have recently received a contest notification via email, which states,
"...Every night in March we’ll give away an iPod [30 Gb], iPod nano [2 Gb], or iPod shuffle [512

I wish I was in America, just for this
It seems (from what I can gather from digital pics) that staff in American Apple stores are really friendly and helpful. Over here in the UK, there have been times I haven't asked a question for fear the employees will growl at me. They just don't strike me as being very Apple-like, though perhaps that's just what I expect now.

I'm 13, I asked for an educational discount, (not knowing I had to be at University) and the member of staff replied in a sarcastic manner, implying that I was already meant to know!
I just thought... wtf...
Although I recall it was an Apple reseller... but still...
