But it broke my Data Analysis Toolpak, just like every other update I have installed since I installed the toolpak. Now I can't do my college statistics homework until someone mails me my Office 2004 CD from home...

At least for me! Anyone got all their calendars from iCal to Entourage? Or the other way around?
Ya, but no sync of categories .... what is that all about??

I've not had any success with Spotlight noticing all the Entourage stuff yet, though others have.
The Sync Services support works pretty nicely. I'm syncing four ways between Entourage, Address Book/iCal, via Missing Sync 4 to my Palm, and via iTunes to my iPod.
All I can say is that the office apps -- especially Entourage run way faster, i feel like my G4 PB got a new lease on life.

March 14 2006 at 6:52 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI thought Spotlight would never be able to index Entourage items, because Spotlight is file-based and Entourage is database-...uh...based.
Wait, here's where I got that idea: http://arstechnica.com/reviews/os/macosx-10.4.ars/9
So what changed?
Hm, what's that noise?
Oh, right, it's everyone who paid for e2sync swearing at their computers.
Syncing and Spotlight works pretty well. Although I think I already found a little bug. If I open an email which I found via Spotlight it's "Modification Date" get's changed to today. And unfortunately Spotlight is listing the emails by "Modification Date" and not my "Received Date". Anyone else noticed that?
