Podfitness.com
I
have an iPod and I'm fat, there I've said it. That's where Podfitness.com
comes in.They are billing it as a 'personal trainer in your iPod,' and it'll set you back $19.95 a month. The coolest part is that the pod workouts use music from your own iTunes library.
The worst thing about it? It is PC only at the moment, but they promise they are working on a Mac version.
The service launches on March 21st.

I tried the free 3-day trial to podfitness.com. The workouts actually really worked me! The program's pretty buggy, though. It doesn't show all of your iTunes playlist. Seems pretty random in which songs it chooses to show. Also, you can't alternate between one program and another. For example, if I wanted to alternate between a cardio and weight training program I can't do it. The fitness profile you fill out also seems to have no correlation with the workouts you get. I said I wanted 30 minute workouts but it gave me hour-long sessions. It's a bit pricey for a system with lots of problems. That said, however, the workouts were truly like having a personal trainer pushing me. I'll probably subscribe sometime in the future, when I'm confident these bugs have been worked out.

http://www.primecondition.com looks better for me and it'll work for the Mac as it's web-based.
I am really disappointed in this site and I have not even gotten to try it yet. They were supposed to launch in January, then delayed, now I am just fed up. And the thought that I have to go mix my own music with a VO session? Seems really complicated. It is lost on me now. I won't pay 20 bux a month that's for sure.

Podfunk.com another victim...
Apple legal team has asked Podfunk Products not to use 'POD' as a part of their Trademark or domain name.
All you need is PC running iTunes (Macintosh support coming soon!), an iPod or portable MP3 player, and a broadband internet connection
March 15 2006 at 4:45 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyCan't speak to whether there are more PC iPod owners than there are Mac (although, I'd say it's a given that there are probably more multiple iPod owners amongst Mac users than PC). The folks behind PodFitness are actually Mac users. According to them, the program they're using is easier to manipulate on PC, hence that platform's readiness v. that of Mac. But they swear they're working day and night to make the Mac version available at time of launch.

Anyone got the stats?
PC only?? $19.95?? It sounded cool for all of 10 seconds before I heard those parts. Back to the gym I go...
