Does the Mighty Mouse LED project a mouse?
This one
is a bit weird, so bear with us. It seems that Flickr user
Dan Bowels noticed that the light on the underside of his Mighty Mouse produces what (kind of) looks like a mouse's
head on the surface of his desk. Has he stumbled upon an ultra-rare hardware easter egg, or is this just an optical
illusion? You decide. We're a little more than skeptical, but if you can replicate the image of the little red mouse
face with your own Mighty Mouse, we'd love to see it.[Via Infinite Loop]

That's funny, I had used that as my PAD the other day and didn't even realize what it looked like!

Yep,
my M$ IntelliMouse Optical does a devil's horns too.
Still it's far better mouse than a MM to use.... and a quarter of the cost (and still going strong after 4 years).
No such luck here with my Logitech mouse. Just an oval with a circle in it. Not quite sure what I was expecting though...

I thought this was cool when the first entry about it appeared at Infinite Loop yesterday. But, TUAW is at least the sixth site to pick it up.
Dave, could you cut the fellow at Flickr some slack? His name is Bowles, not BOWELS. And, oh, had your roughage?
i wonder how high he was when he noticed that?

How cool! Mine definitely looks like a mouse. It's got the beady little eyes, and little mouse ears. Unfortunately the little scroll button stopped working. Anybody else have that happen? Hmm... guess I better see if that's under AppleCare.
