FreeiPods.com sued by the great state of New York
My mother
always told me that there is no such thing as a free iPod in this lifetime, and it looks like she was right about. NY
Attorney General Eliot Spitzer is suing
the company that runs FreeiPods.com (which I am not going to make into a link because they suck) for sharing millions
of people's information with marketing companies despite statements from the company that they would never sell user
information. So, dear readers, heed my word and buy your iPod. It might cost more than nothing, but at least you can rest easy that your personal information is fairly secure.
