iLounge gets details on the iTalkPro
It's is the one
accessory I've been waiting for: A voice recorder for the fifth generation iPod. iLounge was lucky enough to get some
exclusive details and photos of the iTalkPro,
the upcoming iPod audio recorder from Griffin Technology. It sounds terrific.According to iLounge, the iTalkPro can manage three and a half hours of CD-quality, stereo recording on a fully charged 60GB 5G iPod. An on-screen gain control will let you do a little fine-tuning via the iPod itself.
No pricing or shipping information has been announced, but I want one already. Check out the full article here.
Thanks, Mark!

For better or worse, I usually have to record 5-8 hours at a time. So without the ability to power the iPod while recording, I just can't use this.
Nice design otherwise, though.

sadly when you record with an iPod while it's getting power from an adapter it adds some nasty high pitch noise to the recording, at least the 3rd gen I tried it on did. Which is probably a reason we never saw much more support for it in higher quality recordings.
