Timeline of Macintosh computers

This is officially cool, mostly because I say so. Wikipedia has a graphic that charts the timeline of Macintosh computers which shows the time length that particular models were (currently are) in production. The coolest part is that you can click on a model name, and it takes you to that Mac's Wikipedia entry.

Hopefully mid-94 is a bit far... Imagine having about two dozen computers to choose from... I remember being 14 and lurking on Windows Codenamed Chicago ... Oh Come on... I started having my first buttons and choaking on my first cigarette... We've all been stupid ! ;-)

That's awesome. I still have my "old" G4 graphite tower that is rockin' solid and still quite fast. The one thing that absolutely jumps out at me (probably because I'm a designer, and it's surrounded by white space) is the relatively TINY lifespan of the G4 Cube. That chart really puts it in perspective.

Doesn't work with my safari and firefox. It's all together on the right of the screen.

Unfortunately, it is indeed broken at the moment. Atleast the screenshot is pretty.

Safari and FF show it well... It's a bit wide so you've gotta scroll to the right to see it entirely... it's 30 years old after all !
