The iPod book case

What's better than a book? Why cutting out an iPod shaped cavity in that book and use it as a spy like iPod case. That's just what Flickr user DoctaBu did, and of course he posted pictures.

It's very cute. He uses a Handbook of Theological Terms for the book.
It would work better as a stealth device if he had wireless headphones. Headphones coming out of a book look odd.
I did the same thing with a Tungsten E once partly since I found it amusing to use a real book as an ebook holder and partly because I felt weird reading a pda for a few hours in public. Mine sported a nice second SD card holder spot, too, though I never cut out a portion for the audio cable.

Maybe it was a Fabio novel.
One thing you never want to do is what Homer Simpson did in one of the episode, use a bible as the book to put his liquor

I mean, what better metaphor can you get for an old medium (books) being utterly replaced by new media (A Dozen Movies In Your Pocket!!) than to rip a hole in the former to store the latter? ;)
(Disclaimer: I have an iPod and love to listen to music on it...while reading books ;)
what about the power book?
