macZOT! giving away AppZapper
What
will those kooky kids at macZOT! do next? Well, at the moment they seem determined to give away 2000 copies of
AppZapper, kind of. As they say, there is no such thing as a free lunch in this life. macZOT! will lower the price of AppZapper by 5 cents for every blog that links to them, until the application is free.
This is a clever way to get some free marketing, and give away some great software. Everyone wins!
Thanks to everyone who sent this in.

I downloaded it about 12:30 PM EST and got my registration code. Thanks for the tip I find this app useful and am very glad that it is free :-)

Everybody should stay tuned to the home page as it will have instructions on how to get AppZapper for FREE - until 11:59 pm PST on April 03, 2006
@#2 and #4 (same person),
I relent, you are correct. I misread it and did not understand that's how you download the app once it's free, not submit the blog.
See? Who says people never admit when they're wrong?
Something is up with this promotion. They should have hit 259 long ago and they are definitely pulling comments. #3 had his pulled and so did I (although I noticed someone else reposted my link in their own comments later on in the thread).

Actually, I did read the instructions. I see nothing about emailing them except:
"Once they reach at least 259, AppZapper will be priced at $0.00 (FREE) to everybody who registers at MacZOT.com or sends a simple email to BlogZOT@maczot.com after the time it becomes FREE."
And at the bottom:
">> Post links to blogs as comments to this entry for them to count!"
I didn't make that up.
@2
ACUTALLY, you need to read the directions. You can either post something in the comments OR send the e-mail.
I left this site and my own blog in the comments on the site around 11:00am EST and both of my entries were deleted from the comments.
So I added "Why was my link deleted?!" that has yet to be deleted. I wonder if they hit a wall and are not allowed to reduce it any more.
Actually, you have to leave a link in the comments for it to count.
