A dictionary on your iPod
Many people have been lamenting the fact that there is no full fledged dictionary available for their iPods, but now
they can rejoice. Merriam Webster, working with iPREPpress, has just released an iPod ready version of their
dictionary. It'll set you back $9.95 (which is a special introductory price) and it only works with 3rd generation
iPods or later.Thanks, Dhiram Shah.

The Merriam Webster site says 40.000 words.

How many words?
Presumably it uses the iPod's Notes features, and the dictionary consists of hyperlinked menus: [a href="..."] etc
I thought there was a fairly low limit to the size of text files on the iPod: 4K per file, 1000 files total.
4MB (with no space left for your own notes) doesn't seem enough to contain a comprehensive dictionary.

Sound great. Has anyone tried this?
