Apple Expo 2006 registration now open
Apple Expo 2006, the Apple shindig in Paris, has started accepting
registration. If you plan on being in Paris between September 12 - 16th you should check it out. I mean, there isn't
that much to do in Paris anyway, so you might as well hang out with some other Macheads. Thanks, Nik.

I'm kinda tempted to go but I can't see me hanging on that long to pick up a 17" MBP. I have patience issues.

I'm registered, printed several copies and i LOVE the pie! (and Apple). Now to find a nice hotel, 5 star will just have to do.

"I mean, there isn't that much to do in Paris anyway..." Common, maybe you shouldn't spend that much time behind your apple!!

If a Steve Jobs Keynote is high on your 'must have' list, make sure your travel and hotel bookings can be cancelled without any financial penalty. The Paris show has the worst track record for last minute cancellations (albeit often due extraordinary circumstances) since its inception. Last year Steve cancelled the Keynote a few weeks before the event without explanation (basically because there was no product to showcase), another year ill health forced his cancellation, another year 9/11 saw the whole event cancelled.
Bear in mind it is not a major priority for Apple in the manner of MWSF, and they make that very obvious to all concerned. Rather it is seen as a 'show the flag' exercise. If the timing fits their schedule, fine, but little extra effort goes into it. I say that as a regular, often disappointed, attendee.

My bank balance couldn't cope with sitting in a live Steve keynote. It's bad enough after a webtranscribed one.

How much does it cost? Is that 12 per day? Or 12 in total? i.e. you buy a ticket on the first day for 12, and you can use that ticket everyday. ???

No cost if you subscribe now.
12 if you come without having subscribed and you can use it everyday.
