One thing I love about Chax, the vital iChat plug-in, is that its developer has been reliably rolling out a good handful of new...

Sadly, I am unable to see AIM chat rooms after I installed the new version. I've joined the room, and the Window menu at the top has it listed. It just isn't showing up.

It's a matter of preference; some people like it, some don't. No one's wrong either way.
Does anybody actually use the tabbed browsing? I've tried it in Adium and with Chax, and I can't seem to find any purpose. I like having a different window for each person - on my 14" iBook.

that'll get everyone in there
#1: Sorry, not that I know of. If you're running Tiger I've seen tutorials on how to add MSN and Yaoo buddies into iChat by using the Jabber protocol, but it's usually kind of a clunky setup. For example, you'll have a separate buddy list for each protocol; they don't get lumped into one large buddy list like in true multi-protocol apps like Adium.
It's definitely do-able though, I know a couple people who use that setup on a daily basis.
are there any good hotmail plug-ins though? ? im shakled by msn friends
