Paging Jack Miller of As the Apple Turns

Pete Mortensen, writing on Wired's Cult of Mac blog, is looking for Jack Miller of As the Apple Turns. The site hasn't been updated in a long while, Jack isn't returning emails, nor is he returning phone messages.
If anyone knows about this where abouts please let Pete know, he's worried (and now I am as well).
Ah, As the Apple Turns. It was the first Apple related site I would visit with regularity.

Wow. Their daughter really has grown. I remember their marriage like it was only yesterday. And having the baby. Where did the years go??

I'm so far off base on this one that not even TUAW or Wired or MacNN will pick it up. I bet no one else cares ... you're right ... I should just drop it. :P

What a talent. It's very difficult to make money writing, unfortunately. I'm sure day job/family/frustration? came in to play.
Unfortunately, I know.

I have been writing about this on my site for over a month now:
www.jackwhispers.com
As the Apple Turns started in September of 1997, according to information on the site.
Best wishes to Jack, where ever he may be. And thanks for all the great episodes...

Why do you care? Is it because you hope that by doing so, someone will care about you when you disappear?
One of the rumor sites - Mac Rumors? Mac OS Rumors? - had a teaser about "Whatever became of Jack Miller?" a few weeks ago. But the teaser disappeared and the promised article never showed up.
You'd think Jack could at least post "I'm not dead" on the atat site and make us all feel better.
Ah AtAT, also one of the first Mac blogs I read on a regular basis as well, and I do think Jack & gang were one of the first real regular bloggers out there. Great style, wonderful stories. Good times.
Kudos to him spending time with his family.
How old is AtAT? Could you make the case that it was one of the first Mac blogs? One of the first blogs, period? I know this gets into an annoying meta question of "what's a blog," etc. But if we could bracket that, I remember AtAT from what... '97? '98?
