iClear for iPods with video
Griffin Technology today announced the newest member
of the iClear case family, the iClear for the 5th
generation iPod (with video). The nice thing about this polycabonate case, as you can see, is that it is
transparent allowing you to watch videos on your iPod whilst still saving it from scratches. The case will set you back $20, but it will accommodate both 30 and 60 gig iPod models.

I supposed the Griffin iClear for iPod nano is priced approx. $20 and it is scheduled to begin.

at least with the i-See Video you get an optional belt clip
I have one of these for my white 30GB, and it's pretty nice but I was wondering, is there any difference beetween the generic one I got from the Apple Store and this one? I've practically scratched half the crap out of the thing working out for a few times, but, it is pretty durrable (broke the things fall a few times).

May 05 2006 at 4:29 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplySo my question is, does the case scratch easily? I have some Speck skins with clear plastic screen guards, and they scratch easier than the iPod itself. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a clear screen if what's covering it is scratched.

(Forgive my ignorance) Does this mean that the 30gb users who have thinner iPods get a spacer or something, or does it jiggle inside of the case? Maybe it has a seperate snap for the 60gb model? There's 1/10th of an inch difference between the two here.
In any case, (haw haw) it's time for me to go case shopping b/c the screen on my iSkin has gotten marred to the point that I can't read anything on the iPod, without subjecting the case to any extreme conditions!
