ChatFX - video effects within iChat
ChatFX can bring some fun to your iChat video conferences by adding quirky video effects; basically it's like Apple's Photo Booth for iChat. Using the power of Quartz Composer (built into Mac OS X 10.4), ChatFX can apply eight different effects to your video conference in real time, including a green-screen effect for that perfect "sure, I'm still at school/the office" cover story. I concur with JJ. It totally screwed up my iChat prefs and would cause iChat to lock up every time I ran it (even after uninstalling this app). Deleting the preferences and resetting all the settings cleaned this up.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP.

I, nor anyone I know, has yet to get iChat video working ... WTH happened to "It just works"??
If it's that damn hard there's gonna be alot of angry MacBook users around.

for what it's worth, the video works great for me.
on the down side, file and image xfer and in window rendering is borked.

I can verify that this is not worth using bandwidth on downloading, not to mention the $$, if anyone have problems getting iChat to work like Eystein try this, helped me,
change to port 443, in iChat settings/account/server
remember both computers you're trying to reach should try this!!!
