NHL highlights in the iTunes Music Store

Way back in January I blogged that the NHL was close to making a deal with Apple, and it would seem the deal has been done. As of yesterday you can buy (for $1.99 each) 20 minute highlight clips of both the Eastern and Western conference Stanley Cup final games. I can only assume that the Stanley Cup games will be available as well.

"I can only assume that the Stanley Cup game will be available as well."
It's nit-picky, but it's a series, not a single championship game.

Uh, you mean Stanley Cup games, right? (It's a best-of-seven series). I find it ironic that these highlight packages are not available in the Canadian iTMS, where a few people might actually buy them.

Thanks guys, I corrected the post. I'm not that much of a hockey fan myself (shocking, huh?).

Well, considering no one cares about hockey and it's only televised on the obscure OLN channel, you would need to buy these recaps just to see what happened!

#5, I'm pretty sure I've watched a couple games on channels that weren't OLN recently. As in, the past couple weeks.
These would be a lot more interesting to me if the Ducks weren't 0 for 3 in this series. Or if the Kings were even IN this series.
