The same thing happened to me with my 17" Samsung LCD, I believe it was even the same type of bug! I too waited for the bug to die off screen but instead, the bug decided to lay his grave in the dead centre, right at eye level. Now whenever friends use my screen they instictually attempt to swipe it away. What do I say to them when they ask about it? "Well, I was playing this game called Bugdom - it crashed really bad one day and left one of the bugs behind". Gets 'em every time.
Quick! Where's the debug menu?

I got two of those little f**kers die in the middle of my old table lamp iMacs screen! i always meant to try and get them out with a can of compressed air, but laziness is my middle name. eventually i managed to unload it onto a friend for a good price.

So who's going to ask the question... How many dead bugs are too many dead bugs? ;)

Mmm, I read about this once. Some guy the same problem, but he managed to get the bug out by luring it to the edge of the screen with his mouse pointer. Seriously.
It's worth to take a shot.

True story - a friend of mine had a Mac with dual monitors pushed together. One day he was annoyed to find a bug walking around in the first monitor.
He admitted to me afterwards that he watched that little bug for ages, willing it to walk off the first screen and appear in the second screen. Needless to say the bug wasn't up for the challenge :-)

I have bits of stray ash stuck in my G5 iMac like that. Too lazy/worried about breaking something to pull it apart and shoot it with compressed air. Maybe I'll do it this weekend. I can't tell you how many times I've mistaken that ash for a German sniper in BF1942.

I had one of those in my flat screen a while back. Mine eventually found it way out or died, but yeah, it was in there for like a week. I wonder what kinda bug that is, cause apparently they are in Japan too.
