Cats and dogs totally dig Macs

Christopher Phin over at his wildly optimistically named blog, Receding Hairline, has brought my attention to a brilliant Flickr group called "Cats love Macs." As the name implies, the photos all feature two elements: a cat and a Mac. With over 230 members, it's pretty clear that cats really do like Macs. There's plenty of space for canines in the similar group called "Dogs love Macs too!" Some highlights from the cat group include Mac owner's pets lounging on toasty iBooks and pawing at new MacBooks or even jumping on top of eMacs. Fortunately for the owners, no poo is involved at this point. Now, how about a "Humans love Macs" Flickr group?

My cat hated me when I switched from a 19" CRT to a 20" Cinema Display! Harder to sleep on top of :)

macbook + cat owners - any thoughts?
Well, I'm sure you'll be delighted to know there already is a "Naked and Mac" group in Flickr, here :

My cat hated me when I switched from a 19" CRT to a 20" Cinema Display! Harder to sleep on top of :) She got a bit of a shock when she jumped up and there was nothing there! Teehee. Now she sleeps on top of the cinema display box by the window up high
May 28 2006 at 8:30 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyMy cat used to love my old Mac monitor it would sleep on top...all of which died from unknown causes...after 3 replacement monitors from Apple(warranty) my local repair center tried to fix the last one and called me to curse me as when he opened it up tons of fleas escaped into his pristine tech repair shop...
worked fine after I stoped the cat sleeping on top.
Give me a cat over a dog anytime. My cat loves my G4 tower, and he has an infinity for Monty, too.

now i know why ebay sellers stress that their items come from a smoke-free, pet free home
What's wrong with cats? They are soft, warm, silent, and have self respect (unlike dogs....)
