RapidWeaver 3.5
RapidWeaver 3.5, the theme based website creator, has just been released by Realmac Software. This release is a Universal Binary, and includes new themes, CSS based photo galleries, 'feature rich blogging,' and SFTP support. The price has gone up slightly from $34.95 to $39.95
Thanks to all who sent this in.
Correction: I incorrectly said that you can edit HTML in RapidWeaver's new code view. Sadly, you can only view the code (and check for validation errors). Thanks to Tom for pointing this out.

People who know NOTHING about coding, hosting, servers, PHP, or any other terms of the like. It's not designed to be used for heavy coding, and as poster number 22 adamantly states, "Creative Control." It's meant to design excellent looking websites in a matter of minutes.
If your looking for control, spending that huge chunk of change on Dreamweaver. But, if your like me, and you need to easily manage an excellent looking site very quickly, then buy Rapidweaver. You won't regret it.
Dude, wtf, you can re-edit the CSS-Files created by RapidWeaver and costumize them you u like.

June 02 2006 at 11:23 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI for one am not impressed with 3.5. The theme that I have been using for almost a year does not function in 3.5. Things were changed without notice; kinda bummed. I guess I'll just stick with 3.2 until I can find a suitable replacement.
June 02 2006 at 7:04 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI tried RapidWeaver. I liked it for what it was, but it's not for me. There is still no HTML/CSS editor for those who know coding but just need a leg up from the monotony short of the bloated Dreamweaver... at least that I know of. I'm still using Taco HTML because of its snippets feature.
June 02 2006 at 6:59 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replywell they did well out of me today , upgraded and bought the flickr add on which does not work with live updates on .Crap , so bought some hosting with Macdock.
:) soon to be a very happy user
The new themes suck balls. Rapidweaver's failed attempt to be more like iWeb
June 02 2006 at 2:26 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyYou can even blog in HTML if you want. Sometimes it's cool to just throw in a few tags to get an unordered list, right in the middle of a bunch of Rich Text.
