Cyberduck 2.6 is available
Cyberduck is the free, open source FTP/SFTP client for Mac OS X that I've been using for about a year now. It works quite well, is full-featured and free (I said that already, right?). You can also get a Dashboard widget, Growl notification and Quicksilver integration for Cyberduck.Version 2.6 is now available, and changes include:
- Turkish Localization
- Automatic software update
- Dashboard Widget included
- Reintroduced transcript drawer in browser window
- Transcript drawer added to transfer window
- Option to use Network Diagnostics upon failed connections

I hope this one is more stable. The previous version was crashing very, very frequently on all my platforms. I suspect that's because the Linux directories I was access had about 800 files in them.

Hrm.. I've been using Fugu for some time... I'll have to check this out. I'm not certain it will budge me from Fugu though (;

I really appreciate that someone has FINALLY written a free FTP program for mac (ever since the decline of fetch).. however, i am permanantly indebited to Panic Software for their delicious Transmit--which has been around for a long time as the best FTP client available for mac, and which also is constantly being rethought and improved upon.

Not sure why other people have had so many stability problems. I've had really good luck with Cyberduck.

Recent versions of Cyberduck have been pretty bad, it's caused me to lose files on two occaisions. Once for no reason I could see and once as where I was FTPing to had no disk space left. Instead of telling me Cyberduck overwrote the files on the server with 0 byte files. I switched to Transmit after that.

unfortunately I've had stability problems with cyberduck as well. Once I go about 6 or 7 directories deep on my hosting company's linux server, it goes idle and times out. downloaded the trial of 'fetch' and had no such issue. wish cyberduck worked.... :(

It's amazing. I hadn't any crush with it.Cyberduck also looks very friendly - this kind of thing really should be included with the OS though.
