BlogZot: HoudahSpot
Spotlight is great, but its interface leaves one wanting. Its difficult to specify location, file type, date modified, and other types of file data without going out of your way to learn spotlight commands. HoudahSpot introduces a whole new way to interact with spotlight. Upon opening the program, one is greeted with an interface not dissimilar to the PathFinder search dialog, allowing users to choose where, for what file types and dates modified, as well as multiple other variables, to search. MacZot is doing another one of their BlogZot promotions for this product, in which every blog post advertising the event takes $0.05 off the price, until HoudahSpot is free. Interesting kind of promotion. Can you get a bigger discount by advertising it with a billboard while wearing a monkey suit?

MacZot had already some great Software in various Blogzots: Appzapper, Subethaedit and the latest was a license for pzizz and a second module - i blogged every blogzot on my site and recieved my personal keys after a short time the blogzots ended!

MacZot does promotions like this all the time. Some are better than others. Many applications have been given away for free. MacZot always has some pretty cool applications for sale. Definitely check them out.
