Maybe LeopardTracker can help put an end to your obsessively sleepless nights - it's a new site that does all that searching for you and catalogs Leopard-related articles for anxious Mac users everywhere. Of course, no one but The Steve and Apple's engineers really know much about this next version, but the site documents the rumors and table-scraps from Apple's own announcements, as well as articles and blog posts that criticize the areas where Apple's OS fails and could still use some polish. Links are also organized into categories, such as Finder, Hardware, Virtualization, etc., to help you get your Leopard on a little easier. Check it out.

Are there any bigger rumour freaks than (us) Mac fans?

Probably not... besides we find goodness in our upcoming toys and software, Apple's products are worth rumoring and hyping because usually it is sleek, unique and amazing to use!
Mac fans rejoice... Leopard is coming!

It's human nature to speculate what is out there. Religion, science and culture (to name a few) has always been based on it. The difference between Apple "rumour freaks" and other computer companies is that Apple discloses nothing until it's availble. Making us guess at what is on the horizon. Whereas companies like Mircosoft keep telling us what they have planned while never really bringing these "revolutionary new items" to fruition.

Matt, you're right, and it had the exact same tagline.

I hear the Leopard can change its spots...
Actually, I hope for 10.5 Leopard Apple doesn't feel compelled to emulate Microsoft's Windows Vista look too much.
I've been running Vista beta 2 and while I find its Aero glass interface an interesting use of 3D shaders, it's a major usability nightmare.
Vista's UI is just so crowded with low contrast text: thin white labels on translucent backgrounds, constantly changing color schemes, picture elements that scream for attention by don't convey any information.
It's very visually unproductive, your eye has to dart back and forth scanning for reference points to actually find what your looking for. It's reminiscent of those trendy magazines that print body text over photographs, making it difficult to read.
I think Vista will go down as a clear demonstration as just because it looks cool, doesn't mean it's good.
Coming back to the Mac, with its clearly defined emphasis on well-proportioned black text on mostly opaque backgrounds, with plenty of white space and an economical use of color, is very refreshing.
I very much hope Leopard doesn't jeopardize the clean interface.
